Our Story
JCHT was founded in 2022 in Amsterdam by a small team of data engineers who were frustrated by the fragmented analytics landscape. Every tool they used — from Mixpanel to Google Analytics to internal event systems — lived in its own silo, making it nearly impossible to get a unified view of what was actually happening across products.
They set out to build a single platform that could aggregate data from any source, normalise it into a consistent schema, and surface insights without requiring teams to become data-warehouse experts. What started as a scrappy startup quickly attracted attention across the European tech scene.
In 2023, JCHT was acquired by Dept®, the global digital agency headquartered in Amsterdam. The acquisition brought access to Dept's deep expertise in tech, data, and digital transformation — along with a broader client base and enterprise credibility. JCHT continues to operate as an independent product company within the Dept® family, combining startup agility with the backing of a world-class agency.
Today, JCHT powers analytics for thousands of companies — from early-stage startups to enterprise organisations — processing billions of events every month across our global infrastructure while keeping the experience simple and accessible.
